Floating valve

The floating valve features a Super Germet (“SG”) valve that blocks the reverse flow of liquid
Complies with API RP 10F, Category IIIC standards for fatigue strength, pressure, and temperature applicable to equipment with a check valve
Ensures operability in wellbore conditions with any inclination angle
Tolerates 24-hour fluid pumping with calcareous additives
Valve design contains no steel components, allowing for drilling with PDC bits
Can be manufactured with various types of connection threads, including TMK UP premium connections
General Description

SDT Float Equipment namely Float Shoe and Float Collars are used to guide the casing to set in the hole which ensures the quality of cementing. Float equipment from SDT is generally used in the lower section of the well to help decrease strain on the derrick while directing casing past edges and bog zones in the open hole.

The float shoe and float collar manufactured by SDT use the spring driven float valves and are very reliable. The material used for float shoe is drillable with any bit type. Float Collar is run in a casing assembly, usually several joints above the Float Shoe. It serves as an extra back pressure valve sealing against pressures from blow while running the assembly and after the cementing job.
