General Description

The SDT ICD technology includes sand control screens equipped with inflow control devices and different types of packers to isolate production intervals of a horizontal hole. Our ICDs equalize the inflow profile along the horizontal wellbore section in order to defer/delay water or gas breakthrough and restrict the inflow of adverse fluids/gases into the wellbore in case of a breakthrough happened. The devices mechanism of operation is to control and adjust the resistance to the flow of the produced fluid depending on its physical properties – density and viscosity. There are two generations of the most effective inflow control devices.

Features & Benefits
Increase in oil recovery and share of recoverable hydrocarbon reserves
Increase in target product production rates
Eliminates the need to block unwanted fluid breakthrough intervals with remedial and workover operations
Reducing the water cut of the produced product
The device works autonomously, without the need for control from the surface
Reducing costs by increasing the overhaul period of downhole completions equipment
Extended well life and reduced downtime
Patented software package for modelling the operation of inflow control devices
Selection of equipment configuration for specific well conditions with modelling
Installation of inflow control devices directly at the field or in the workshop
The equipment is certified and QA/QC with all the required documentation
The technology combines sand control and at the same time inflow control protected by screen wrap housing
